§ 17-14. General right to solicit or sell at places of residence.

  • Any peddler who obtains a permit under this article, and who complies with all other applicable laws or ordinances, shall have the right, at reasonable times and places and under reasonable circumstances, to solicit orders for the sale of goods, wares and merchandise or to sell and dispose of goods, wares and merchandise in any private dwelling, apartment or other place of residence, except as otherwise provided in this article.
