§ 6½-13. Notification by health officer to ratproof and ratstop buildings; time limitations.

  • Upon receipt of written notice or order from the health officer, the owner of any business building specified therein shall take immediate measures for ratproofing such building, and upon receipt of like notice or order the owner of any nonbusiness building shall take immediate measures for ratstopping such buildings. Unless such ratproofing and ratstoppage shall be completed by the owner in the time specified in the written notice or order, in no event to be less than fifteen (15) days, or within the time to which a written extension may have been granted by the health officer, such owner shall be guilty of an offense under the provisions of this article.
