§ 6-9. Drafting sites for pumping water in areas with inadequate fire hydrants.

  • In areas where, in the opinion of the chief of the fire department or his representative, there are inadequate fire hydrants to sufficiently protect commercial industries, such as yacht basins, boatyards and like places, drafting sites for pumping water, (wells, bodies of water, etc.) must be provided and maintained by the occupancy being protected. These drafting locations shall be designated by the chief or his representative.
