§ 8-33. Manufacture, sale, possession, etc., of narcotic drugs.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to manufacture, possess, have under his control, sell, prescribe, administer, dispense or compound any narcotic drug, except as authorized by state law.

    (b)

    For purposes of this section, the term "narcotic drugs" shall mean coca leaves, opium, isonipecaine, cannabis and every substance neither chemically nor physically distinguishable from them, and any and all derivatives of the same, and any other drug to which the narcotics laws of the State of Florida and of the United States apply.
