§ 10-37. Identification cards for registrants.

  • (a)

    All persons enumerated in section 10-33(b) shall be entitled to receive an identification card after having duly registered. Should the report from a judicial court of record show that such applicant has a criminal record, or is of an immoral character, then such applicant may be denied an identification card by the chief of police. All such identification cards shall expire two (2) years after the date of issuance. Thereafter any person continuing to engage in any kind of employment or business requiring an identification card shall apply for a new card as provided herein.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to employ any person required to be registered by section 10-33(b), until the person so employed has a current identification card issued under this section.
