§ 2-15. City commission compensation.

(a)

The annual compensation of the mayor of the City of Oakland Park, pursuant to section 2.08 of the Charter of the city of Oakland Park, shall be the sum of ten thousand two hundred dollars ($10,200.00). Compensation shall be paid in monthly increments of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850.00).

(b)

The annual compensation of the members of the city commission of the City of Oakland Park, pursuant to Section 2.08 of the Charter of the city, shall be the sum of nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00). Compensation shall be paid in monthly increments of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).

(c)

The city commission hereby determines that all compensation received by members of the city commission shall be adjusted annually to provide for Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA). Such adjustments shall be deemed effective on April 1st of each year, and will be in accordance with the Consumer Price Index for Urban Consumers (CPI-U) established rate of inflation for the preceding calendar year
