§ 5-8. Relocation of buildings or structures into or within the city.

(a)

Permit required . No person shall relocate a building or structure into or within the City of Oakland Park without first obtaining a building permit from the community development department. The permit fee is specified in the building permit fee schedule.

(b)

Police supervision . Police supervision will be required for the relocation of any building or structure moving on or across a public way. The chief of police shall approve the route over which the building or other structure shall be moved and the times at which such moving operation shall be carried on.

(c)

Bond required . The applicant shall file a cash bond with the city in an amount determined by the building official prior to the issuance of a permit for relocation of a building or structure into or within the city.
