§ 8-9. Failing to pay fare for vehicle for hire.

It shall be unlawful for any person engaging the services of any vehicle for hire, properly licensed by the city, to fail or refuse to pay the lawful charge or rate therefor upon request of the operator of such service after the use of such vehicle for hire.
